McCombs’ Executive MBA program ranks 7th among U.S.-based programs according to the 2022 Financial Times ranking of EMBAs worldwide.

The new standing represents an all-time high for the Texas Executive MBA, an advance over its previous high of rank 10 in 2020 and its top-20 status over the past two decades in the annual ranking.

The top three programs in the overall ranking were, respectively, Kellogg’s EMBA with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (located in China), CEIBS’ Global EMBA (China, Switzerland, Ghana), and the Tsinghua-Insead EMBA (China, Singapore, France, UAE). As usual, three quarters of this year’s list consisted of programs located outside the United States.

Slightly more than half of the data for the ranking is gathered from alumni three years after graduation. This year’s survey queried the EMBA class of 2019, and McCombs saw strong gains in the percentage of salary increase, the extent to which alumni fulfilled their goals, and in gender diversity, among other factors.
