Texas McCombs BBA Ranks No. 6, Nation’s Leader in Top 10 Specialties

McCombs’ undergraduate program lands at No. 6, with 12 business specialties ranking in the top 10

The McCombs School of Business hit No. 6, tying with Carnegie Mellon University in the 2026 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s undergraduate business program rankings.

This marks the 11th year in a row for the Texas McCombs BBA to land in the top seven in the annual ranking, and the 27th straight year for it to make the top 10. Among public schools, McCombs ranks third behind business schools at the University of California at Berkeley (No. 3) and the University of Michigan (No. 4). 

McCombs tied the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School to lead the nation in the number of top 10 business specialties, which speaks to breadth of coverage as well as quality.  Of the 13 total specialties ranked by U.S. News, McCombs and Wharton both landed 12 in the top 10.
