Texas Working Professional MBA No. 3 in Nation
McCombs rises four ranks in Fortune’s 2024 ranking of part-time MBA programs.
The suite of Texas McCombs Working Professional MBA programs soared to No. 3 among 50 ranked programs in Fortune magazine’s third semi-annual list of part-time MBAs.
The Working Professional Programs at McCombs include the Texas Evening MBA as well as the Dallas and Houston weekend programs.
The top two programs in the ranking this year, respectively, were the University of Chicago, and the University of Michigan. The last Fortune part-time ranking appeared in 2022.
Fortune’s methodology changes from year to year. This year’s ranking involved the number of the school’s MBA alumni holding C-Suite positions in Fortune 1000 companies (15 percent), and the average annual search volume for the school on Google (10 percent); the remaining 70 percent encompassed school data such as class size, average GPA and work experience, graduation and retention rates, acceptance rate, yield, and tuition.
