Texas McCombs Reaches Historic High in Global MBA Ranking
McCombs cracks the top 25 in The Economist’s ranking of MBAs worldwide
The Texas McCombs MBA jumped 10 spots to rank 25 in The Economist’s 2018 list of the world’s top 100 full-time MBA programs.
High student satisfaction and salary figures propelled the Texas Full-Time MBA to the school’s global historic high in the magazine’s 17th annual ranking.
The top three global spots, respectively, went to the University of Chicago, Northwestern, and Harvard.
Among U.S. programs, the Texas MBA rose to No. 19, marking its third time in the last seven years to crack the domestic top 20.
The methodology behind the ranking includes: career opportunities (35 percent); personal development and educational experience (35 percent); salary increase (20 percent); and networking potential (10 percent).
