For the 14th year in a row, McCombs landed in the top 20 in the nation’s most comprehensive MBA ranking.
The McCombs School of Business hit No. 19 in Poets & Quants’ 2023–24 ranking of 100 U.S. MBA programs. Among public schools, McCombs placed sixth.
The top three spots in the annual ranking, respectively, went to Stanford, Harvard, and Dartmouth.
The Texas McCombs Full-Time MBA Program has landed in the top 20 every year since the ranking debuted in 2010.
Poets & Quants forgoes surveys and data collection, relying instead on a weighted average of what its editors perceive as the most influential graduate business rankings. Which rankings are chosen and how they are weighted vary annually. This year’s line-up includes: U.S. News & World Report (35%), Financial Times (30%), Bloomberg Businessweek (15%), LinkedIn (10%), and the Princeton Review (10%). This comprehensive approach encompasses a larger array of data and smooths out the anomalies from any one ranking on its own.
