Texas McCombs BBA No. 6 in 2019 U.S. News Rankings
Undergraduate program continues its top-10 status, with nine business specialties ranked in the top 10
The McCombs School of Business landed at No. 6, tying with Carnegie Mellon University, in the 2019 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s undergraduate business program rankings.
This marks the 20th straight year that the Texas McCombs BBA has landed in the nation’s top 10 in the annual survey.
The BBA program had five specialties place in the top five:
• Accounting: 1
• Management Information Systems: 4
• Marketing: 4
• Finance: 5
• Quantitative Analysis: 5
Other top specialties:
• Real Estate: 6
• Insurance: 7
• Entrepreneurship: 8
• Management: 9
• Supply Chain/Logistics: 11
• Production/Operations: 12
Among schools with the highest number of top 10 specialties, McCombs is second only to the University of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania has 10, and McCombs ties with NYU and Michigan with nine.
U.S. News bases its undergraduate business rankings entirely on surveys of deans and program directors of AACSB-accredited programs. More details about the methodology can be found on the U.S. News website.
