Texas Executive MBA Cracks Top 10 in U.S.
McCombs rose to No. 10 in the U.S. in the Financial Times’ 2020 Executive MBA Ranking
McCombs’ Executive MBA program ranks 10th among U.S.-based programs, according to the 2020 Financial Times ranking of EMBAs worldwide.
The new standing represents a 14-year high for the Texas Executive MBA, which has largely landed among the top 20 U.S. programs for the past two decades in the annual ranking. McCombs was the only business school in Texas or the Southwest to make this year’s list.
The top three programs in the overall ranking were, respectively, Kellogg’s EMBA with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (located in China), CEIBS’ Global EMBA (China, Switzerland, Ghana), and the International EMBA at HEC Paris (France). Nearly three quarters of this year’s list consisted of programs located outside the U.S.
Slightly more than half of the data for the ranking is gathered from alumni three years after graduation. This year’s survey queried the EMBA class of 2017, and McCombs saw strong gains in salary, career advancement, and work experience, among other factors.
