MS in Finance Hits No. 3 in U.S.
Texas Master of Science in Finance takes top 5 in both Financial Times and the Financial Engineer Times.
The Texas Master of Science in Finance (MSF) at the McCombs School of Business ranks No. 3 in the nation in the Financial Times 2021 ranking of MSF pre-experience degrees worldwide.
In FT’s eleventh annual ranking, the U.S. schools ahead of McCombs were MIT (No. 9) and the University of Rochester (No. 43).
McCombs landed at No. 45 place in the worldwide tally. The top spots went, respectively, to HEC Paris, ESCP Business School, and Skema Business School, all headquartered in France. FT’s higher education rankings are known for their global diversity, with 93 percent of the rated MSF programs located outside the U.S.
FT’s methodology includes alumni input on salary and career progress, school diversity issues, alumni satisfaction, and international mobility. For the current ranking, FT surveyed the MSF graduates of 2019.
Among online media, the Texas MSF also enjoys top 5 status. The program hit No. 5 in the 2022 Best Masters of Finance ranking from the Financial Engineer Times, which listed 90 U.S. programs using student quality and employment data.
