McCombs MBA No. 1 for ROI
Texas Full-Time MBA leads the country in return on investment in latest ranking
Texas McCombs takes the top spot among the nation’s full-time MBA programs that offer the best bang for the buck, according to a new ranking.
Insider Monkey, a website for individual investors, wanted to know how the top two-year MBA programs in the country fared when weighing graduate starting salaries against cost of attendance.
In their ranking of the top 15 MBA programs with the highest return on investment, the Texas Full-Time MBA took first place, followed by Indiana (Kelly) and Michigan (Ross).
Insider Monkey shortlisted 50 highly rated MBA programs from QS World University and Fortune. They then examined publicly available data for median base starting salaries and total cost of attendance for two years. The study assumed an expected salary increase of 3% per year over the first five years of employment.
McCombs’ ROI credentials are further bolstered by Georgia Tech’s ROI ranking, where the Texas MBA came in No. 2 out of 25 schools, second only to Georgia Tech.
