In a historic high, the McCombs School of Business hit the top 10 in seven separate MBA categories in the Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools for 2020. The results are as follows:

No. 1 Best Campus Environment

McCombs tops this list for the second year in a row. The category reflects how happy MBA students are and how they rate the city the school is located in, as well as the campus community, availability of school clubs and activities, and level of participation from fellow students.

No. 4 Best MBA for Marketing

McCombs has risen in rank for the past two years in the marketing category, which takes into account the percent of graduates going into marketing, their starting salary, and their assessment of how well their schools are preparing them for marketing careers.

No. 4 Best MBA for Nonprofit

The percent of graduates going into nonprofit and their starting salary is compiled with student assessment of how well their schools are preparing them for nonprofit careers.

No. 7 Best MBA for Finance

This marks the first time McCombs has landed on the finance list, which examines the percent of graduates going into finance, their starting salary, and their assessment of how well their schools are preparing them for finance careers.

No. 7 Best Professors

MBA students assess how good their professors are as teachers and how accessible they are outside the classroom. McCombs professors have achieved top 10 status in 10 out of the past 11 years.

No. 7 Greatest Resources for Women

This item includes the percent of MBA female students and faculty, student assessment of resources for female students, whether the school offers coursework for women entrepreneurs, and whether case study materials for classes proportionately reflect women in business.

No. 10 Best Classroom Experience

MBA students evaluate their professors’ teaching abilities and recognition in their fields, the integration of new business trends and practices in the curricula, the intellectual level of their classmates’ contributions in course discussions, and whether the business school is meeting their academic expectations.

The ranking tallied 20,700 student survey responses across 248 business schools offering on-campus MBA programs. Some ranking lists also factored in school-reported data.
