McCombs Hits Six Top 10 Lists in Princeton Review’s 2021 Rankings
McCombs continues to have the best campus environment of any business school in the nation
The McCombs School of Business hit the top 10 in six separate MBA categories in the Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools for 2021. The results are as follows:
No. 1: Best Campus Environment
McCombs tops this list for the third year in a row. The category reflects how happy MBA students are with the campus community and the school’s city, the availability of school clubs and activities, and level of participation from fellow students.
No. 2: Best MBA for Nonprofit
The percentage of graduates going into nonprofit and their starting salary is compiled along with how students assess how well their schools are preparing them for nonprofit careers.
No. 5: Best MBA for Marketing
For the past four years, McCombs has held a top five position in the marketing category, which takes into account the percentage of graduates going into marketing, their starting salary, and their assessment of how well their schools are preparing them for marketing careers.
No. 6: Best Classroom Experience
Rising four ranks from last year, and hitting the list four years in a row, McCombs excelled in how MBA students evaluate their professors’ teaching abilities and recognition in their fields, the integration of new business trends and practices in the curricula, the intellectual level of their classmates’ contributions in course discussions, and whether the business school is meeting their academic expectations.
No. 9: Best MBA for Finance
The percentage of graduates going into finance, their starting salary, and their assessment of how well their schools are preparing them for finance careers.
No. 9: Best Administered
This marks the first time McCombs has landed on the administration list, which addresses how smoothly the school is run and the ease with which MBA students can get into required and popular courses.
The ranking tallied 17,800 student survey responses across 244 business schools offering on-campus MBA programs. Some ranking lists also factored in school-reported data.
