Associate Professor of Marketing Raghunath Rao won the Gerald E. Hills Best Paper Award from the American Marketing Association.

The AMA’s Entrepreneurial Marketing Special Interest Group recognized Rao’s paper, “The Fruits of Legitimacy: Why Some New Ventures Gain More from Innovation than Others,” published in the Journal of Marketing, with the annual award for its quality, impact, and citations.

The award will be presented in August at the 2018 Global Research Symposium on Marketing and Entrepreneurship and at the AMA conference in Boston.
