Two professors and a student at the McCombs School of Business won one of two Information Systems Society Cluster Best Paper Awards last fall. The paper was titled “Can Information Sharing Reduce Diagnostic Disparity: Evidence From a Health Information Exchange.” It was co-authored by Indranil Bardhan, Wen Wen, and Minghong Yuan of the Department of Information, Risk, and Operations Management. The award was presented at the Conference on Information Systems and Technology during October in Phoenix.  

Bardhan is the Foster Parker Centennial Professor of Management and teaches courses in the MBA program and the M.S. program at Dell Medical School. He focuses on applications-driven research in the areas of health care analytics and information technology management. Wen is an associate professor, award-winning teacher, and researcher in the areas of IT innovation, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and the future of work. Yuan is a Ph.D. student who is scheduled to finish his degree in 2027.
