Brumley Texas Venture Labs To Help Small Businesses Grow
The Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs (TVL) at The University of Texas at Austin launched the TVL Small Business Impact Program during August. The initiative, supported by Wells Fargo, seeks to empower local businesses by providing strategic resources and talent from the University. “The TVL Small Business Impact Program reflects our commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in Central Texas,” said Christy Grady, TVL program manager. “With Wells Fargo’s support, we are expanding our programming to directly benefit our local business community.”
Key highlights of the program include:
- Workshops: Deep dives into finances, marketing, and operations with a series of four intensive workshops each.
- Mentoring: Dedicated mentors to help businesses develop growth plans tailored to their needs.
- Networking opportunities: Cohort-based sessions to facilitate connections among participating businesses.
Through each facet of the program, Texas Venture Labs aims to equip the local businesses with the knowledge and network they need to succeed. “I am confident this program will help the local economy by accelerating growth opportunities for Texas-area business owners,” says Kyle Hranicky, CEO of commercial banking at Wells Fargo and part of the advisory council for the McCombs School of Business. Sessions continue weekly during the fall.
