Three master’s programs at McCombs continue to hit high marks in the 2026 QS World University rankings

Texas McCombs again commands strong positions across the board in the 2026 release of QS World University’s Global Business Master’s rankings. 

MSM No. 2 in the U.S. 
 

The Texas McCombs Master of Science in Marketing again took second place in the U.S. and No. 13 worldwide in the QS Master’s in Marketing Rankings.   

This marks the sixth year in a row for the MSM to land in the top two on the domestic front. 

Among the five subcomponents used in the ranking’s methodology, the Texas MSM was especially noted for its alumni outcomes, which ranked sixth worldwide, and thought leadership, which came in 10th.  
 

HEC Paris and ESSEC Business School, both in France, again took first and second place, respectively.  Columbia University took the top spot among U.S. schools.  A total of 164 marketing programs were ranked.  

 
MSBA No. 7 in the U.S. 
 

The Texas McCombs Master of Science in Business Analytics ranked No. 7 in the U.S. among Master’s in Business Analytics programs. Worldwide, the program ranked 12th, with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California at Los Angeles tied for first place and ESSEC / HEC Paris coming in third.   

The MSBA has landed in the top seven U.S. programs for eight years running. 
 

Among subcomponents, the Texas MSBA again ranked No. 5 worldwide for value for money (ROI), and its overall rank placed it among the top 6% of 201 programs considered.  
  

MSF No. 7 in the U.S.  
 
The Texas McCombs Master of Science in Finance again ranked seventh among U.S. schools and rose four spots to No. 28 among Master of Finance programs worldwide. First place went to HEC Paris, with the University of Oxford and MIT taking second and third, respectively.  

The MSF has held the top 10 status among domestic programs for the past nine years.

McCombs ranked in the top 11% of 248 schools included this year. Among ranking subcomponents, the Texas MSF placed No. 13 worldwide in alumni outcomes, which measures alumni among CEOs, entrepreneurs, and influencers.
