Texas MBA Hits No. 16 in Fortune
McCombs takes high marks in Fortune’s debut ranking of full-time MBA programs
The Texas MBA landed at No. 16 among 69 ranked programs in Fortune magazine’s inaugural list of full-time traditional MBAs.
Among public schools, McCombs came in No. 3 behind Berkeley (13) and Virginia (14). Leading the ranking, respectively, were Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton.
Fortune debuted the ranking on its new hub for business school and continuing education, Fortune Education, where it complemented an inventory of online MBA programs.
Fortune’s methodology included salary and employment outcomes (65 percent), a survey of 2,500 business professionals and hiring managers on the school’s overall brand (25 percent), and the number of the school’s MBA alumni holding C-Suite positions in Fortune 1000 companies (10 percent).
