The Texas Master of Science in Finance (MSF) at the McCombs School of Business ranks No. 4 in the nation, and No. 1 among public schools, in the Financial Times (FT) 2026 ranking of MSF pre-experience degrees worldwide.

The top three spots in Financial Times’ 16th annual ranking went respectively to ESCP Business School, SKEMA Business School, both headquartered in France, and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in China. FT’s higher education rankings are known for their global diversity, with 90% of this year’s 70 ranked MSF programs located outside the U.S.

FT’s methodology includes alumni input on salary and career progress, school diversity issues, alumni satisfaction, and international mobility. For the current ranking, FT surveyed the MSF graduates of 2023.

Among online media, the Texas MSF also enjoys 10 years in the top 10. The program hit No. 8 in the 2026 Best Master’s of Finance ranking from The Financial Engineer Times, which listed 90 U.S. programs using student quality and employment data.
