For the second year in a row, the McCombs School of Business captured top-20 status in the 2026 release of the Financial Times global MBA ranking.

The Texas McCombs Full-Time Hildebrand MBA Program achieved its second-highest domestic performance, with a ranking of No. 18 among U.S. programs. Out of 100 ranked programs worldwide, McCombs landed at No. 41.

The top three schools in the annual ranking were, respectively, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, INSEAD, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

McCombs’ performance comes on the back of strong results in the two weightiest compensation components. The average salary of alumni three years after graduation — $194,009 — ranks No. 15 among U.S. schools, and the percentage of salary increase from pre- to post-MBA reached almost  a two-decade high at 121%.
