Member, Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council

Khan has been appointed as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC) by the trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation effective Jan. 1, 2026. The primary function of the FASAC is to advise the board on issues related to projects on the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) agenda, possible new agenda items, project priorities, procedural matters that may require the attention of the FASB, and other matters as requested by the chairman of the FASB.
