Arun Datta

Arun Datta is finishing his dissertation in strategic management at McCombs. He just returned from presenting a paper at the Academy of Management meetings in Copenhagen, Denmark. Last fall he presented at Strategic Management Society meetings in Istanbul. He studies CEO power dynamics — how top executives shape firm strategy via privileged information flows, status legitimacy, and regulatory influence — with a special interest in chief executives who also founded their firms. His current projects include an invited revise‑and‑resubmit at Strategic Management Journal.
