M.S. in Finance Program Hits No. 4 in U.S.
The Texas Master of Science in Finance takes top 10 status in both the Financial Times and
Financial Engineer Times

The Texas Master of Science in Finance (MSF) at the McCombs School of Business ranks No. 4 in the nation, and No. 1 among public schools, in the Financial Times (FT) 2025 ranking of MSF pre-experience degrees worldwide.
The Texas MSF also boasts the highest salary among domestic programs, three years after graduation, at $120,557.
The top three spots in Financial Times’ 15th annual ranking went respectively to ESCP Business School, SKEMA Business School, both headquartered in France, and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in China. FT’s higher education rankings are known for their global diversity, with 91% of this year’s MSF programs located outside the U.S.
FT’s methodology includes alumni input on salary and career progress, school diversity issues, alumni satisfaction, and international mobility. For the current ranking, FT surveyed the MSF graduates of 2022.
Among online media, the Texas MSF also enjoys nine years in the top 10. The program hit No. 6 in the 2025 Best Master’s of Finance ranking from the Financial Engineer Times, which listed 91 U.S. programs using student quality and employment data.
