McCombs Wins National Women’s Case Competition

A trio of Texas McCombs students took the top prize for UT at this year’s National Women’s Case Competition. Finance sophomores Josephine Do, Anwita Garuda, and Chandana Sirigireddy, all members of the Women in Business Association at McCombs, faced off against students from 25 universities in the highly competitive national event, one that challenges them to think critically to solve real-world industry issues. They advanced and then competed in the final round against five teams from across the U.S. at an event hosted in April by McCombs and sponsored by Apple. They were coached by Russ Finney, director of MIS Undergraduate Programs at McCombs.
