Wall Street for McCombs Annual Reception, April 9

The annual reception for students in the Wall Street for McCombs (WSFM) Leadership Program, a long-standing tradition dating back to the program’s inception in 2016, gathered a record 200 sophomores, juniors, seniors, and first- and second-year MBAs. Established as a collaborative effort between the McCombs School of Business and Wall Street professionals, WSFM has opened up new career paths for finance students. Attendees not only had the chance to network with Dean Lillian Mills at Rowling Hall, but also celebrated the program’s ethos of camaraderie and mutual support, reinforcing WSFM’s legacy of preparing students for success in the dynamic world of finance. Scholarship Appreciation Dinner, Feb. 22

More than 150 scholarship recipients and supporters gathered for this popular annual dinner, which is an opportunity for them to get to know each other. The dinner allows those who fund scholarships to spend an evening getting to know student recipients. This year, attendees heard from MBA students about their undergraduate experiences, their paths to becoming master’s students, and ways to set and achieve goals. Attendees also heard from other students about how scholarships made it possible for them to attend the University.

Executive Mentorship Dinner, Feb. 15

More than 140 BBA students shared dinner with 18 of Texas McCombs’ most accomplished alumni and faculty members during the 11th annual gathering. Mentors and students also got the opportunity to talk about their plans, networking strategies, and ways to get the most out of their time at the business school.
